Lilac Lark

Arrangements for the annual Lilac Lark are coming together now and our A-boards advertising the event will shortly be placed in the park alongside the main London Road. Here we see Bob putting the finishing touches to one of the posters...

...before standing back to check the finished work.

Speakability

Today being the third Tuesday in the month, one of our members will be providing transport for the Speakability Club. This is a service activity which our club has undertaken for many years, collecting members of Speakability from their homes, taking them to their meeting and then returning them to their homes afterwards. Speakability provides both a social activity and therapy for people who have suffered strokes and Brighton Lions have not only provided transport but also paid for posters displayed in doctors' surgeries around the town.
