International aid

Although Brighton Lion Club spends most of its money (about 90p in every pound spent) on local charitable works, we do support the International Association in its efforts to bring help to other parts of the world, especially when they are struck by natural disasters. This week we have donated £500 to assist with the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, and £1,000 for the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
